I'm so excited to announce that I will be part of the blogging community! I have been super inspired by many other teacher bloggers. I hope to be an inspiration to others like me. I can't wait to share what I am doing in my classroom this year and many years to come with other fellow teachers. Mostly I can't wait to give credit to those wonderful ideas I have used from fantastic teachers. Hopefully along my teaching journey I can show you some of my own ideas as well. I am blessed to work in a profession that I have the flexibility to be as creative as I want. The best part is that my students benefit from all of these amazing ideas; whether they are mine or other teachers'. I have to give a shout out to Jen Ross over at

She pretty much set up this blog to make it beautiful and really represent me and my classroom.
So watch out for my posts as we head into a new school year. I'm soooo excited for all the things I have in store. I'm sure I will be posting tons of pictures as I set up my classroom next week. Monday will be my first day back to set up my room. We start Pre-Planning on Wednesday next week. Are you ready? Good Luck!

ReplyDeleteI taught K 26 years ago for one year as a long term sub and loved it. I had been in 4th for the past 6 years, but am moving downstairs and back to second this year. I have been making banners this week for the new room - in dots! When do you start back in Florida? Your new blog looks fantastic!
We start back a week from today. : ) : P I'm excited and nervous and well pretty much every emotion! I'm definitely going to miss 2nd grade and the people I worked with but change is good.
