Today was a great day. I helped my sister-in-law clean out her classroom. She had a beautiful baby girl in April and has decided to take a personal leave of absence and spend time with her until next year. Just want to put this out there... she really is the cutest niece ever because she's mine : )
She was also a Kindergarten teacher. She just finished her second year of teaching. While packing up her things I snagged a few items to borrow this year until she gets back into teaching. Super excited because I really have nothing for Kindergarten. I don't really have much at all since this is my second year teaching and if I do have stuff it's mostly all 2nd grade stuff
I ended up with a nice pocket chart holder, some really cute stools, kitchen play toys, play-doh : ), and some other odds and ends things. It makes me super excited to get back into it all. Just being in a classroom and see all the things I need to do makes me excited but also overwhelmed. Too much to do and I know August 14th (the first day) will be here VERY soon.
